Mary-Cathern was predeceased by her son Adam Miller in March 2020 and her sister, Elizabeth Anne Drew in June 2020.

Mary-Cathern was an accomplished musician, performing with the Bremerton West Sound Symphony for over 45 years, numerous South Kitsap High School fall musicals, and the Duncan Creek String Quartet. She was also a Master Gardener and Master Composter and did her best to pass along her green thumb to all that were willing to pull a few weeds with her. Her love of gardening lead her to volunteer at the South Kitsap Helpline food bank garden in Port Orchard, Washington.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held later this year in Manchester, Washington. In lieu of sending flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to one of her favorite organizations, the Bremerton West Sound Symphony or the South Kitsap Helpline .
